About HLH

The Health Services Learning Hub (HLH) supports country learning on implementation and provides a platform to share country experiences and lessons learned in related to the implementation of quality of care and patient safety interventions. The HLH collects, synthesizes, and publishes frontline experiences in the form of action and learning briefs.

The HLH was launched by the World Health Organization during the COVID-19 pandemic to facilitate cross-country learning and sharing of experiences on maintaining essential health services at the time of the pandemic. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the HLH continues to serve as a global learning platform to document and feature the stories of interventions and approaches used to improve quality of care and patient safety in the countries.
